BFA project recognised for innovative inductions

In the Workplace Health and Safety Queensland July 2018 bulletin there is a feature article titled ‘Laing O’Rourke hits the next gear for innovative inductions’.  The article describes the innovative approach that the Battlefield Airlifter (BFA) project has undertaken that is helping the project work smarter and safer.

The Next Gear engagement workshop that is delivered as a right to go to site across all Laing O’Rourke projects is delivered by volunteer facilitators from all parts of the business.

Great work is being achieved by the project in working collaboratively with their supply chain partners and ensuring an engaging on boarding process that simplifies the safety objectives whilst maintaining a focus on high consequence risks.
